TESTIMONIAL

I thought it was really lovely, the time you spend making the service personal and memorable really makes a difference to the final ceremony. I enjoyed it so much I would consider having another humanist ceremony in the future.

Isabella - Naming Ceremony

quote_isabella

What made you want a naming ceremony/humanist ceremony to celebrate the arrival of your baby?

We really wanted to do something special for Izzy to get everyone together but I am not religious so I really didn’t want a christening. My grandma had a humanist funeral and I remembered how personal and lovely that was so I looked it up on the internet.

What did your guests say about your ceremony?

The guests were all very positive. A lot weren’t sure what a naming ceremony was so they got a nice surprise. People were talking about how personal it was, and how relaxed it all was. I even had someone saying they would consider one for their own children.

What will you remember most from your ceremony?

I think the whole thing will be memorable, but I guess the most important part was how many people came to celebrate with us. I was not expecting so many people to want to be a part of it and it will be great to be able to tell Izzy all about it when she is older.

Any general comments about my service?
