Stuart & Catherine - Wedding Ceremony
|

What made you want a personal/humanist ceremony for your wedding ceremony?
We'd been together for 10 years and felt we needed something special, thought-provoking and relevant to ourselves. We also wanted to recognise the impact our friend and families had had on our lives. Equally, we were both clear we had strong personal messages for each other and wanted the freedom to express ourselves.
What did your guests say about your ceremony?
Every single person thought the ceremony was fantastic. Some of the comments from our wedding book include:
- "Very touching"
- "Lovely, warm and personal"
- "Beautiful"
- "A truly moving experience"
- "A gorgeous, gorgeous ceremony"
- "Unique and touching"
We had several people of strong anglican belief at the wedding and they were as moved and as touched as everyone else.
What will you remember most from your ceremony?
It depends who you ask! Seriously though for both of us it was the way in which we were able to make everyone feel part of the ceremony, how you understood us so well, and how we felt attached to every word of the ceremony as every word seemed to belong to us. |
